"Hello my name is Monica Sullender,
I am a 29 year old surfer and SCUBA diver raised in California.
Two years ago an opportunity arose to work with Mares,
the SCUBA diving subdivision of Head Group. Head also
encompasses Penn rackets, Tyrolia ski bindings, and Sporasub
freediving equipment. The position required that
I relocate to Italy to be a product line manager for
BCD’s/Wetsuits/Bags,
and help develop the women’s line of SCUBA. And so ‘California
Water Woman’ meets Italy! New language, new culture,
new friends, new job, and lots of new stress! I
